Park Fees

Visitors to Banff National Park are required to pay a user fee: Entry fees are charged at most national parks and national historic sites. Most of the money raised through admission fees remains in the particular park or site where it is collected. This means, that every time you visit a park or site you are investing in its future and in a legacy for future generations.

  • $8.80 CDN per day for an Adult (annual $61.80 CDN)
  • $17.60 CDN per day per group/family (annual $154.00 CDN) (2-10 people)
  • Anyone using a rental car should be prepared to pay for this fee.
  • If they do not and they get caught in the Park they will be required to buy a pass.
  • Anyone using buses or the Airporter Shuttle from the Airport to Banff can purchase their park passes in the airport or through the Airporter Shuttle driver
